Nortje remains alive at NAIA Nationals, will wrestle for 7th and 8th place on day three

Park City, Kan. – Dickinson State has just one wrestler remaining at the NAIA National Championships, as Edrich Nortje (141), who has already clinched All-American honors, with wrestle for 7th and 8th place on day three tomorrow and currently holds a 3-2 record in the tournament.

Jose Gonzalez (125) was knocked out in the round of 12 and finished with a 3-2 record, while Jackson King (184) finished in the round of 16 with a 2-2 overall record.

DSU currently sits in 22nd place as a team after day two, with 55 teams present at the tournament.
