Jamestown, N.D. - Dickinson State assert dominance over the University of Jamestown in their 3rd head-to-head matchup of the year. By winning 7 of the 10 weight classes, Dickinson State secured a final score of 33-16.
Jennifer Verdin (103), Jenna Gerhardt (110), and Jumoke Adekoye (131) each earned forfeit victories for the Blue Hawks. The momentum continued with Larhae Whaley (117), who achieved a decisive fall over Jenna Baarson from Jamestown in 1:25, and Mikayla Jardine (124), who pinned Abby Ewing in 1:02.
Jessica Gubler (138) delivered an impressive fall in just 27 seconds over Nora Houglum. However, Jamestown answered back with key victories in the higher weight classes. Savannah Brehm (145) fell to Ann Meiman by fall, while Lena-Mae Nelson's (160) hard-fought 7-7 decision netted the Blue Hawks three more team points.
Unfortunately, the Blue Hawks couldn't take care of business at 180 pounds and 207 pounds, where Kiley Hubby and Savanna Rickter were pinned, respectively.
