Blue Hawks fall to #20 Bellevue on Senior Night

DICKINSON, N.D. – Dickinson State battled, but fell 3-0 to #20 Bellevue in Scott Gym on Friday night. The Blue Hawks honored three seniors before the game with Bailey Pearcy, Lexi Puev, and Brooklyn Wyllie all playing in their final home weekend as Blue Hawks.

McKenzie Moser led DSU with 14 kills and 7 digs, while Madi Wahl added 9 kills and Makyah Albrecht chipped in 8. The Blue Hawks hit well on the night, but were unable to get any significant runs going, as they never led any of the sets by more than one point against the nationally ranked Bruins.

Pearcy piled up 32 assists on the night in just three sets, while Taylor Fischer led the Blue Hawk defense with 11 digs.

DSU will play their final home match of the season tomorrow, October 28, against Dakota State and it will be a Pink Out match for cancer awareness.
