Nagel shines again as Blue Hawk women compete in Jamestown and Moorhead

DICKINSON, N.D. – The Dickinson State women's outdoor track and field team split time between two different competitions this weekend, competing in the Ron Masanz Classic in Moorhead, Minnesota and the Al Cassell Classic in Jamestown, N.D. No team scores were recorded for the competitions, but several Blue Hawks turned in impressive individual performances.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS – Al Cassell Classic - FULL RESULTS

  • Jocelyn Ott won the 200 meters with a time of 27.48 seconds and the long jump with a mark of 5.57m
  • Grace Timm won the 800 meters with a time of 2:24.10, Jewel Olson and Elizabeth Widmer took second and third in the race
  • Sarah Griffis took second in the 5000 meters
  • Tinley Pierson took third in the 100m hurdles
  • Adarra Haglund won the high jump with a national qualifying mark of 1.65m
  • Madison Wahl won the pole vault with a mark of 3.4m, Cassidy Jorenson took second
  • Taylor Mundfrom won the triple jump with a mark of 9.5m
  • Kori Nagel won the shot put and discus throws with national qualifying marks of 14.4m and 45.12m, respectively. Nagel is undefeated in the discus all season.
  • Tori Nygard won the hammer throw with a national qualifying mark of 49.63m and the Javelin with a mark of 36.78m

  • Jewel Olson took third in the 400 meters
  • Grace Timm took second place in the 3000m Steeplechase
  • Kori Nagel won the shot put and discus with national qualifying marks of 14.26m and 43.25m, respectively
