Dickinson State women take first place at Blue Hawk Games

DICKINSON, N.D. – Dickinson State women's outdoor track and field took first place in their own Blue Hawk Games meet on Sunday. The Blue Hawks again had a number of national qualifying marks and NSAA records on the day.
INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS - FULL RESULTS
- Kyley Barnett took second in the 100 meters with a time of 12.99 seconds
- Jewel Olson took second in the 200 meters with a time of 26.54 seconds and won the 400 meters with a time of 59.11 seconds
- Elizabeth Widmer took second in the 800 meters with a time of 2:24.57, Lauren Taylor took third
- Widmer also took second in the 1500 meters, while Taylor took third
- Kaitlyn McColly won the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.63 seconds, tops in the NSAA and a national qualifying mark
- Wrenzi Wrzesinski won the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.41, a national qualifying mark
- The 4x100m relay team of Wrzesinski, Barnett, McColly, and Jocelyn Ott took first place with a time of 48.36 seconds
- Adarra Hagelund took third in the high jump
- Madison Wahl won the pole vault with a mark of 3.82m, a national qualifying mark, and a new NSAA record. Cassidy Jorenson took third in the event
- Jocelyn Ott took third in the long jump
- Kori Nagel took second place in the shot put and won the discus with a throw of 45.9m
- Tori Nygard took second in the hammer throw with a mark of 51.51m, Nagel took third while both marks met the national qualifying standard
