National marks by Wrzesinski and Nagel power women's track to runner up finish in Billings

BILLINGS, Mont. – Dickinson State women's outdoor track competed in their first meet of the season when they traveled to Billings, Montana for the Yellow Jacket/Battlin' Bears Open. The Blue Hawks took second place finishing just behind NCAA Division II University of Mary by 13.5 points.
INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS - FULL RESULTS
- Kyley Barnett took first in the 200 meters with a time of 27.16 seconds
- Jewel Olson took second in the 400 meters with a time of 58.9 seconds
- Kaitlyn McColly won the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.8 seconds
- Wrenzi Wrzesinski took second in the 100m and 400m hurdles with times of 14.88 seconds and 1:03.15, the latter of which is a national qualifying mark
- The 4x400 relay team of Wrenzi Wrzesinski, Kaitlyn McColly, Jewel Olson, and Kyley Barnett took first with a time of 4:04.41
- Madison Wahl won the pole vault with a mark of 3.4m while Cassidy Jorenson took second
- Kori Nagel won the shot put and discuss with national qualifying marks of 13.85m and 46.03m, respectively
- Tori Nygard won the hammer throw with a mark of 47.28m, Nagel took second
