Bismarck, N.D. – Dickinson State indoor track and field traveled to Bismarck for the UMary Winter Classic this weekend, taking fourth place on the men's side and winning the women's meet.

For the women, Dickinson State posted several strong performances at the meet, highlighted by top-five finishes across multiple events. In the 200 meters, Jewel Olson placed fifth with a time of 26.22. Olson also captured the 400-meter title in 59.84, while teammates Peyton McLaughlin and Morgan Aune took fourth and fifth, respectively.

The Blue Hawks dominated the 60 hurdles, with Kaitlyn McColly winning in 8.69 and Faith Brennan finishing third in 9.12. McColly added a fifth-place finish in the high jump at 1.53m, while Adarra Hagelund claimed victory with a 1.68m mark. In the pole vault, Madison Wahl secured first at 3.55m, and Codi Nagle placed fourth at 2.95m. Brennan also excelled in the triple jump, winning with a leap of 11.88m.

In throws, Dickinson State swept the top four in the shot put, led by Kori Nagel with a winning throw of 14.56m. She also took the weight throw title with 17.62m, followed by Taylor Laumeyer and Alician Garcia in second and third.

For the men, Christian Bowden secured second place in the men's 60-meter dash with a time of 6.94 seconds. Quentin Lewis placed third in the 200 meters, crossing the line in 22.49 seconds. The 4x400 relay team of Carl Askins, Quentin Lewis, Hayden Lockie, and Maximus Kadrmas took third with a time of 3:30.08.

In field events, Adrien Calderon tied for third in the pole vault, clearing 4.50 meters, while teammate Gage Glaser placed seventh at 4.20 meters. Ethan Schiller claimed second in the triple jump with a leap of 12.70 meters. In the men's shot put, Dickinson State dominated, with Galen Brantley III taking first (15.59m), Corbin Harris finishing second (15.36m), and Nathan Woodruff in fourth (15.09m).

The Blue Hawks also excelled in the weight throw, as Dylan Dahlgren captured first place with a mark of 18.32 meters, meeting the NAIA "B" standard. Corbin Harris placed third at 17.51 meters, and Nathan Woodruff secured sixth with a throw of 16.32 meters.
