
Fargo, N.D. – Kaitlyn McColly set a new school record in the Pentathlon with 3,755 points, to finish in third place behind two NCAA Division I athletes at the Bison Open in Fargo over the weekend.
Adarra Hagelund continued her impressive run in the high jump, getting second place with a jump of 1.70 meters, just behind the winner at 1.75 meters who set a new meet record with the mark. Elizabeth Widmer, Natalie Lile, and Kara Reed came 5-7 in the 600 meter and the top NAIA finishers.
Madison Wahl took fifth place in the pole vault, although her mark of 3.55m was the same as the third-place finisher.
On the men's side, Carl Askins took eighth in the Heptathlon with a score of 3,718 after finishing as high as fourth in the individual events. Caleb Sarsland finished in eighth place in the mile, finishing in 4:22.37. Galen Brantley III continues to throw the shot put well, coming in second place with a season best 16.42m, good enough for sixth best in the NAIA.
