Jamestown, N.D. The Dickinson State men's and women's golf teams headed to Jamestown Country Club to compete in the Jimmie Invitational. 7 teams competed for the title on the women's side, while the men's side boasted 11 teams. DSU brought two teams on both sides respectively and saw a 3rd and 6th place finish from the two women's teams and a 3rd and 9th place finish from the two men's teams.

The DSU 1 women's team fired a first day 328 to start the second day 5 behind the leaders in the University of Jamestown. The second day saw a 5-shot improvement to card a 323 score as a team, supported by a 2nd place finish by Ellia Soydara +11 (155), tied 7th place finish for senior Elly Leblanc +20 (164), tied 9th place finish for freshman Jori Haugen +22 (166), and rounding out the top 4 scores for the women's team, sophomore Brooklyn Materi took 14th place with a +24 (168). Head Coach Thadd O'Donnell had this to say about the women's performance, "It was an up and down couple of days. The women lead the tournament with 2 holes left after two days and just didn't have things go our way."

On the men's side, the DSU 1 team carded a two-day total of 623 (310-313), finishing 17 shots behind leaders Bemidji State University and 9 strokes behind conference foes University of Jamestown. The Blue Hawks were led by two tied 6th finishes from freshman Torin Ellis and Jayce Johnson +9 (153), the two were reinforced by a tied 12th finish from senior Blake Barner +12 (156), and senior Trevor Berry +17 (161) rounded out the 4 Blue Hawk men with a tied 16th finish. Head Coach Thadd O'Donnell had this to say about the men's showing, "The guys were sitting second with a couple holes left and ended up 3rd." He went on and said this about both the men's and women's teams, "We need to work on finishing a tournament which takes a little more focus, and fight mental and physical fatigue."

The Blue Hawks will head to CrossRoads GC in Carrington, N.D. for the NSAA Fall Championship on September 22nd and 23rd.
