MITCHELL, S.D. – For the second consecutive week, Dickinson State golf took on Valley City State in South Dakota. This week the Blue Hawks traveled to Mitchell, S.D. for the Viking Spring Invite with the men putting together an outstanding performance in victory and the women coming up just short in a very close meet. The Viking Spring Invite was the last tune-up for the Blue Hawks before next week's NSAA Championships in Omaha, Neb.

The men put together an impressive 295 score on back-to-back days to defeat the Vikings by 109 strokes overall. Konner Flint led DSU with a pair of -1 (71) performances to finish -2 (142) on the week and take the individual title. Hunter Myran wasn't far behind, finishing just three strokes off the leader at +1 (145).

Despite the loss on the women's side, Elly LeBlanc continued her great run this season with a tournament best +21 (165), three strokes ahead of the second-place finisher. Her first round 76 was the low round of the tournament.
