LeBlanc's tournament record not enough to push Blue Hawks past Valley City
WASHBURN N.D. - Elly Kapua LeBlanc shot a tournament record 90 but was it was not enough to help the Dickinson State Women's Golf team take down Valley City State on a windy day at Painted Woods Golf Course. The Vikings topped the Blue Hawks 412-443.
Head Coach Thadd O'Donnel acknowledged the tough conditions after the tournament.
"I thought we battled through tough conditions with a young team. Elly played well, considering the conditions, and was able to set a tournament record, as well as finish with the low score on the women's side"
