Paiva becomes the first DSU softball NAIA All-American since Jaya Allen earned Honorable Mention honors in 2021. She collects the honor just a week after being named First Team All-Region by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
She batted a team-best .436 on 75 hits with an on-base percentage of .500. She clubbed 10 doubles, a triple, and a home run on the season, and stole a career-best 28 bases.
“This is another great honor for Rhea to demonstrate her hard work and commitment to softball and our program,” said head coach Kristen Fleury. “We are proud of her for her success on the softball field.”
