TUCSON, Ariz. – A tough first inning proved too much to overcome for the Dickinson State softball team as they fell, 12-0, to Friends University to wrap up their spring trip to Tucson, Arizona.

After a quick top of the first inning by the Blue Hawks, Friends was able to push nine runs across in the bottom half of the inning to take complete control of the contest. They added four more runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to earn the five-inning mercy rule victory.

Kamryn Kuntz, Hailey Enriquez, and Kara Conway collected the three Dickinson State hits, all singles, while Cassidy Venner worked a walk.
