The Blue Hawks competed in the BSC Mystic Rodeo held in Mandan, N.D. at the Dale Pahlke Rodeo Arena. The women's team excelled, clinching first place with 310 points, narrowly outpacing Black Hills State University (BHSU), which earned 300 points. The men's team ranked fourth with 190 points, trailing behind Mid-Plains Community College (MIDPLN), South Dakota State University (SDSU), and Bismarck State College (BISSC).
Standout individual performances from Dickinson State athletes included Lanny Brooks claimed victory in Saddle Bronc Riding with a score of 72.0, while Tycie Phalen took first place in Barrel Racing with a time of 33.47 seconds. In Breakaway Roping, Jenna Hume tied for seventh place with a time of 6.3 seconds. Maci Maher secured fourth place in Goat Tying with a time of 15.2 seconds. Troy Bergquist contributed as the team roping heeler, tying for fourth place in this highly technical event.
