Dickinson State delivered a solid performance at the Iowa Central Community College Triton Stampede. The men's team placed third overall with 330 points, trailing Bismarck State College (845 points) and Mid-Plains Community College (620 points). Meanwhile, the women's team achieved a commendable second-place finish with 290 points, behind Black Hills State University's leading 360 points.
The Blue Hawks excelled in several events. In Saddle Bronc Riding, Dickinson State claimed the top two spots, with Tayson Jones scoring 141.0 and Lanny Brooks following at 130.0. Notable performances also came from Kenzie Homelvig in Women's All-Around, and Jaysee Jones and Maci Maher in Goat Tying, both tying for first place with a time of 14.0.
In Barrel Racing, Kelly Bang placed fifth with a time of 29.39, and Tycie Phalen followed in sixth at 34.17. The team's competitive edge was further demonstrated by strong individual efforts in various roping events, though they faced stiff competition from other colleges.
