Blue Hawks compete at NCAA D1 Roy Griak Invitational

MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. - Dickinson State traveled to Minneapolis over the weekend to compete in the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota. The men came in 23rd place while the women finished in 26th. 

Emberlyn Hoffman-Gaschk led the women with a 24:32 time in the 6,000 meter race, good enough for an 88th place finish. Caleb Sarsland led the men's team with a time of 27:45 in the 8,000 meter race, finishing in 118th place.

The meet is such a large one that two separate college level races are run for each gender, with around 475 and 415 competitors in Dickinson State's men's and women's races, respectively.
