DSU also wrestled Waldorf, Morningside, and Briar Cliff throughout the day.

The Blue Hawks posted 12 pins on the day, as well as a number of other major decisions and tech falls, in one of their best days of wrestling this season. Dante Venema, Tugg Taylor, Samuel Adams, Jose Gonzalez, Wyatt Engwitcht, Angel Cruz, Collin McGrath, and Juan Camacho all earned pins for DSU on the day.

"We wrestled well today," said head coach Justin Schlecht. "Overall the guys wrestled with a good energy and lots of offense. Getting through some injuries and illness they showed some grit. Hopefully we can get healthy for the postseason finish that we are excited for."
