Blue Hawks sweep Dickinson State Spring Invite

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Although Dickinson State was forced to move its own Spring Invitational to Rapid City, South Dakota due to Heart River Golf Course in Dickinson not yet being playable, it didn't stop them from putting together some impressive performances. Both the men's and the women's teams were victorious over Valley City State who was the only other team in the Invite this season. Bryce Reed and Hunter Myran led the men, with both shooting an impressive 147 (3 over par) over two rounds. Myran turned in the low round of the tournament with his second round 71 (1 under par). The 292 put up by the men's 'A' team on day two is the best single day score since head coach Thadd O'Donnell took over the program. Elly LeBlanc continued her impressive season that started in the fall by winning the women's meet by an astounding 12 strokes. She shot an 81 both days for a total of 162 (18 over par).
