Jimmy Dusharm is entering his first season as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach here at Dickinson State University under the direction of Head Coach Eric Nelson.

Last season Dusharm served as the Assistant Men's Basketball coach at Dickinson State.

Prior to Dickinson State University, Dusharm was an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at Lincoln College during the 2021-2022 season. During his time at Lincoln College, Dusharm focused on academic success, player development, recruiting, scheduling all team related activities, opponent scouting and film breakdown.

During the 2020-2021 season, Dusharm returned to his alma mater as a Volunteer Assistant Men’s Assistant Basketball Coach at St. Cloud State University under the direction of former Head Coach Matt Riemer. Here Dusharm was tasked with video operations, player development, team meals and coordinating summer camps. During his season at St. Cloud State University, Dusharm helped the Huskies to a NSIC Conference Appearance in Sioux Falls, SD.

Dusharm is familiar with the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) as he spent two seasons (2018-2020) as a Men’s Graduate Assistant Coach at Waldorf University under the direction of Head Coach Nigel Jenkins. During his two years at Waldorf University, Dusharm was tasked with team travel, player development, recruiting, opponent scouting, film breakdown, social media management. While also earning his master’s degree in organizational leadership and sports management. Dusharm helped the program reach the NSAA Conference Championship game in 2019-2020.
