Blue Hawk men pass century mark again in win over Briercrest

Dickinson, N.D. – 11 Blue Hawk players cracked the scoring column as Dickinson State raced past Canadian foe Briercrest College, 105-83, for the second straight night.

Trey Stevens led the way with 20 points on 8-13 shooting, while John Evans chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds in just 17 minutes. Bradyn Palmer (14 points, 4 rebounds) and Griffyn Doughty (10 points) both had good games off this bench as the only other two Blue Hawks in double figures.

Kose Egbule continued his strong all-around weekend with 8 points, 6 assists, and 6 rebounds in just 18 minutes while Cordell Stinson had 9 points and Josiah Haaland chipped in 8.

DSu won the rebounding battle 46-40 and turned the ball over just 10 times on the afternoon while also shooting 50 percent from the field for the second consecutive game.

DSU will now turn their attention to North Star Athletic Association play as they prepare to host Bellevue and Dakota State on Friday and Saturday in Scott Gym.
