Blue Hawk men put together terrific all-around effort in win over Briercrest

Dickinson, N.D. – Kose Egbule came one rebound short of a triple-double, scoring 14 points, dishing 10 assists, and pulling down 9 rebounds, as Dickinson State cruised to a 111-72 victory over Canadian opponent Briercrest College.

Six more Blue Hawks joined Egbule in double figures as the Blue Hawks shot 50 percent from the field in the victory. Jake Daniel just missed his first career double-double, scoring 13 points and gathering 9 rebounds, while Trey Stevens (20 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds), Josiah Haaland (14 points, 5 rebounds), John Evans (12 points, 4 rebounds), Jaiden Wright (12 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists), and Brayden Palmer (12 points, 5 rebounds) all finished with over ten points.

Dickinson State took exceptional care of the ball, committing just 6 turnovers (compared to 33 assists) on the night, a season best. They forced 20 BC turnovers and won the rebounding battle 50-40 in one of the squad's best all-around efforts of the season.

The two teams will meet again Saturday at 3 pm mountain in Scott Gym.
