Dominant effort leads Blue Hawk men over Oak Hills Christian

Dickinson, N.D. – Dickinson State cruised to a 100-28 victory over Oak Hills Christian College on Friday, as all 13 Blue Hawks found the scoring column in a dominating effort.

Gus Wright led the scoring with 15 points on 6-11 shooting and Josiah Haaland chipped in 12 points off the bench for his best effort of the year.

In one of the most dominant defensive efforts in school history, DSU held the Wolfpack to just 12 made field goals, including 1-22 from long range and forced 22 turnovers. The Blue Hawks assisted on 19 of their 37 made baskets and turned the ball over just eight times for the game while outrebounding OHCC 60-32.

The Blue Hawks will now turn their attention to a date with RV Rocky Mountain College Saturday night to close out the 2023 Sam Milanovich Classic.
