A native of Billings, Montana. Tobin O’Brien will be entering his fourth year as the Blue Hawks Offensive Line Coach. In his first two seasons, O'Brien helped coached Matt Dey 2021 Riminington Award winner awarded to the best center in NAIA football, two NAIA All-American offensive linemen and seven NSAA All-Conference offensive linemen.

Tobin O'Brien graduated from Dickinson State Univerity with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education with minors in Exercise Science and Coaching in 2020. O'Brien is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Sports Administration through Dickinson State University. During his time as a Blue Hawk, O’Brien played Offensive Line from 2015-2019. He helped lead the program to Five NSAA Conference Championships and was a member of the leadership counsel on the team. During that time, the Blue Hawks had a home record of 24-1 and had appearances in the NAIA playoffs for 5 straight seasons. The Blue Hawks advanced to the national quarterfinals in 2018.
