Hayden Gibson is entering his second season coaching the Running Backs. During his first year of coaching, he helped Dickinson State secure their 6th straight conference championship. He coached a first team and an honorable mention all-conference RB. Originally, from Bismarck, ND, Gibson attended Dickinson State from 2015 until his graduation in 2020. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and received a minor in coaching. Hayden started at quarterback for the Blue Hawks for four seasons and helped his team win five straight conference championships. During those four years, he was elected team captain 3 different seaons. He also broke career and season school records for passing yards, passing touchdowns, and total yards. He was also awarded with national player of the week honors during his senior season, throwing for 524 yards in a single game.
