Blue Hawks announce 2024 football schedule

Dickinson, N.D. – Head coach Pete Stanton and Dickinson State football announced their 2024 schedule on Thursday. The Blue Hawks will open their season against Rocky Mountain College for the second consecutive season, but this time DSU will open at home on August 29. They will then play their first NSAA conference game of the year at Mayville State on September 7. The Blue Hawks will then play three consecutive home games over the next four weeks before playing three of their last five games on the road. Homecoming 2024 will be held the weekend of October 19 when the Blue Hawks take on Mayville State.

“After playing 8 games on the road in 2023 we are looking forward to having 6 home games at the BAC this fall. Our 80 returning players have been working hard in the weight room and we are looking forward to taking our first steps to the 2024 season with spring ball next month.”

The Blue Hawks will return eight starters on each side of the ball this fall as they look to capture their tenth consecutive North Star Athletic Association title before moving to the Frontier Conference in 2025. In 2023, DSU went 10-2 (8-0 NSAA) including a 35-28 win in the NAIA Opening Round on the road at Montana Tech.
