Blue Hawks set to host first home competition in school history

Dickinson State University Cheer is set to make history as they host their first home competition in program history this Saturday. The event, taking place in Scott Gymnasium, will feature three schools and five teams competing in an exciting showcase of cheer and dance talent.

The competition kicks off at 11 a.m. and will consist of four duals, starting with the dance teams. Competing teams include Dickinson State Cheer, Northwestern (Iowa) Cheer, Northwestern (Iowa) Dance, Carroll College Cheer, and Carroll College Dance.

DSU fans will have plenty to cheer about, as Dickinson State Cheer is set to take the stage in the final two duals of the day. The Blue Hawks will honor their seniors as well as DSU Faculty and Staff Appreciation during the competition.
