Blue Hawk cheer continues to dominate, wins two competitions in three days
Oklahoma City, Okla. – Dickinson State cheer has been on a roll this season, and the run continued over the weekend as the team blitzed the competition twice in a three-day span.
The fun started in Yankton, South Dakota, as the Blue Hawks took down Northwestern (IA) and host Mount Marty in a triangular with a score of 94.16.
Two days later, DSU upped their game even more, winning the Oklahoma City Invitational with a school-record score of 95.98.
With regular season competitions now done, the Blue Hawks will turn their attention to getting ready for the NAIA National Championships on March 29-30 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. They will look to improve upon back-to-back fourth place finishes at the national meet, as they currently sit at #1 in the country in scoring average with a 94.56, a half point above second place Saint Ambrose University.
