#1 Blue Hawks take down Northwestern in road dual

Orange City, Iowa – Dickinson State cheer continues to up their game, as they put together a season high 95.3-point performance to take down Northwestern (Iowa) in their first dual of the season.

The #1 Blue Hawks outscored the Red Raiders 95.3-88.05 as both teams provided season-high efforts in points. DSU remains at the top of the NAIA average score leaderboards with an average score of 94.67 on the season, .62 points ahead of #2 Xavier University (LA).

The 94.67 average score is over three points better than the Blue Hawks 91.31 scoring average from a year ago, as they look to improve upon back-to-back fourth place national finishes.
