Blue Hawks split duals on the day, but take home first place trophy

SEWARD, NEB. – The Dickinson State cheer team went 1-1 in their duals for the day, but took home the team title for highest average score at the Concordia Day of Duals hosted by Concordia-Nebraska on Saturday.

In the first dual of the day, the Blue Hawks took down Morningside University 89.5-72.35 before falling to Midland College 97.8-95.05 in the afternoon.

As part of the Day of Duals teams were awarded trophies based on their combined scores from both duals on the day. The Blue Hawks came out on top with an average of 92.275, taking home the first-place trophy.
