Dickinson, N.D. - Dickinson State had 68 athletes named to the North Star Athletic Association Scholar Athlete team, the league announced on Thursday. Football had 43 members, volleyball added 17, and men's and women's cross country had 8.
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must achieve a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and participate in a junior varsity or varsity contest. In addition to the criteria, each athlete must be certified on an eligibility certificate, excluding freshman redshirts.
