KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Dickinson State had 33 athletes named to the 2024 Daktronics NAIA Fall Scholar-Athletes this week the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced. This award honors student-athletes in fall sports—such as football, men's cross country, women's cross country, and women's volleyball—who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at the institution.
