30 Blue Hawks receive Fall 2023 NAIA Scholar Athlete honors

Dickinson, N.D. – Dickinson State had 30 athletes named NAIA Scholar Athletes for the Fall 2023 season, the NAIA announced. To be eligible for the award, athletes must be a sophomore or above in academic standings, have a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher, be eligible to participate in their sport, and have spent one full year at Dickinson State. Football, men’s and women’s cross country, and volleyball are the sports present at DSU that are considered Fall Sports.

“We are very proud of all of our scholar athletes,” said athletic director Pete Stanton. “All of our coaches stress academic excellence, and this shows that emphasis, in addition to all the hard work the student athletes put in, paid off.”
